| This is an absolute MUST for everyone looking to get a new laptop! ...BUT, the price is a little to high in my opinion, I never would have got one if I never got mine for FREE. Luckily a friend recommended this website to me before I went and bought one:

| My previous dell laptop had a failed hard disk and I was faced with the option of buying a new hard disk or a new laptop. As my dell laptop was trouble prone all through and was 3 years old I chose the latter. I did my research and chose the acer as I was impressed with the features - new Core2Duo with increased L2 cache and faster processor, lower power consumption, 250GB HDD, NVIDIA GEForce8600 graphics card.

| Bulky, poor battery life, quick access buttons on the right located poorly (keeps bringing up dvd writer program and this can't be changed). Max display resolution of 1280 * 800. | |||
| For £500 I would rate this as an average buy. No increase in speed (which I wazs expecting in moving from a 3 year old Intel Centrino, 512MB RAM to a Core2 Duo 2GHz with 2GB RAM). If my laptop hadn't broken down I might have waited till intel's mobile quad core processors are introduced and maybe gone in for a laptop with a better display resolution and battery life. | |||
